From: {Young Minds}

Young Minds is a blog series written by communications professionals under the age of 30 on all topics related to Gen Y, communications and social media. This brainchild came about from a discussion I had with Arik Hanson about a blog series I wanted to do. The series would be where young pros could ask questions of more seasoned professionals and gain feedback. Arik suggested that it be a series written by young professionals, which is how Young Minds came to fruition.

Each week, I will update the list of guest posters and link to both their blogs (if applicable) and to their guest blog post on LAF.

For over 30s: Your value and insight, and all your questions for Gen Y, is what makes under 30s even better. So, periodically I will have interviews posted on the Young Minds series. This will have a seasoned pro interviewing a younger one on workplace trends, Gen Y stereotypes, and anything related to PR. Stay tuned.

    What a great idea Lauren! Of course, your partner in crime Arik would fill you with lots of great insights! Let me know if you want any inspiration, motivation, feedback, etc. from this 40ish B2B marketing/analytics female ;-) @abarcelos Lots of luck and support!

    Such a great idea Lauren. It’s so important to have young and older perspectives. The best way to bridge the gap is to talk it out, pick each others brains and learn from it. I love the idea all over again. Are the questions going to be coming from the ’seasoned pro’ or will there be an opportunity for others to submit questions as well?

      For right now, I was thinking it would come from the seasoned pro. However, I’m going to be matching people up based on how they work – so similar personalities will interview each other. I’m sure they will brainstorm together!
