LAF has two regular contributors besides principal blogger Laura Fernandex. The two contributors will blog bi-weekly on topics related to public relations, the workplace and social media.

Chevis English is a student and public relations professional in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications at the University of Arkansas and currently attends school at Dallas Baptist University, where she is earning her master’s degree in business administration.  Chevis works part-time for the Shelton Group and also for her father’s business, the English Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center and Surgi-Spa.

Chevis is a member of the Association for Women in Communications and the Lambda Pi Eta, Communications Honors Society.  She is also a volunteer for Paws in the City, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization committed to ending the abuse, neglect and overpopulation of Dallas area dogs and cats.  She can be found on Twitter @chevis.  Some of Chevis’ interests include fashion, cooking, traveling, reading, public relations and helping others.

Katie Wall  

Katie Wall is a 2009 graduate of The University of North Carolina where she studied Public Relations andkk-1 Creative Writing.  She currently works as a full-time freelancer for MS&L Worldwide in Atlanta, Ga.

In her free time Katie enjoys playing soccer, going to concerts, video editing, baking, singing and arranging a cappella music. She can be found on Twitter @goktgo.  She hopes to one day write children’s books and open a bakery.
